While this was a routine visit to deal with macular degeneration, there is nothing routine about visits with Dr. Pecen. She is thorough, provides relevant information on a difficult situation without overwhelming the patient in volume of detail or medical argot. Dr. Pecen is also an excellent listener and exhibits great empathy.
