My husband and I had scheduled back to back eye exams at the Raeford location and had to wait 3 months for our appointments. Upon arrival the parking lot was full when we arrived and some cars were parked in the grass. The inside lobby was just as crowded. Checking in was fairly simple and went swiftly, however we waited about 45 minutes before we were eventually called back. Once we got to the back things were a little bit quicker. They had a second, smaller waiting area that was less crowded. We both saw Ron Faircloth for our exams. He was friendly and down to earth and didnt pressure me about which contacts I should use, unlike some eye drs Ive been to where they have a program with a company and they just pressure-sell you to buy a certain brand from them. I mentioned I dont prefer dailies and Ron listened and suggested a brand that I was already familiar with and liked. After our exams, we were then greeted by someone else who helped us select frames that was covered through our insurance. They had a much better selection of frames that my insurance covered - unlike the last place I went where they only had like 6 frames for me to choose from. Overall the entire staff was pleasant, professional, and courteous. I would definitely consider going back for my next eye exam and recommend this location to others.
I was really satisfied with Dr. Apple. I received a thorough eye exam. The staff was very caring and professional. I recently had an exam with another optometrist October 2023, which was a virtual visit and was prescribed bifocals, without even seeing an optometrist. After my exam with Dr. Apple, he determined that I did not even need bifocals, I had very dry eyes and my tear ducts were completely closed. Dr. Apple inserted tubes into my tear ducts, and prescribed me glasses to wear only for distance and when driving. I have a follow up appointment September 3rd. I'm so thankful that I got a second opinion with Carolina Eye Associates.
