Open Positions

Accounting Specialist/Part-Time/Pinehurst, NC – Responsible for processing check requests and disbursements, processing bi-weekly payroll, and associated reports for all clinic locations.  Maintains financial accounting systems including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and financial statements. Prefer an Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent education and experience.  Three years of experience with accounts payable and two years of payroll experience.  Would prefer experience with Proliant payroll system. Authorization Coordinator/Accounts Receivable Representative/Full-Time/Pinehurst, NC –  Monitor appointments to ensure authorizations are obtained for Tricare and other payors as required. Work AR reports for balance control of insurance and patient aging accounts. Require AAS degree in Medical/Business Administration or related field, two years of medical office experience, prefer previous experience working with managed care plans. Computer literate. Full-Time with excellent benefits. Submit resume with salary requirements. EOE.

Insurance Resolution Representative/Full-Time/Pinehurst, NC – File insurance claims, assist insurance companies with inquiries and process accordingly. Analyze and process required documentation to resolve each encounter (claim resubmission, letters, telephone contact). Review AR over 180 days for resolution. Require High School Diploma or equivalent, prefer AAS degree in business related field, require 3 years’ experience preforming insurance and posting duties. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. EOE.

Billing Assistant/Part-Time/Pinehurst, NC – Answer patient calls for insurance and billing inquiries, research to determine course of action, create tasks for insurance billers for follow up, perform other duties as requested. Require High School diploma or equivalent, prefer AAS degree in business related field. Require at least 1 year experience in insurance/billing or related field. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. EOE.

Patient Service Representative/Part-Time/ Pinehurst, NC  –   Register patients upon arrival, secure insurance or managed care authorization, and prepare chart. Post charges, educate & communicate balance to patients, request payment, post payment data, issue receipts, and submit daily deposit. Process insurance claims. High school diploma or equivalent required, prefer 1-3 years of medical office experience performing related tasks and/or Associates Degree in related field (Business, Accounting, etc.). Computer literate. EOE.

Ophthalmic Photographer / Full-time / Pinehurst, NC   –  Perform OCT’s, Slit Lamp/External, Fundus photos/IVFA’s ERG/VEP testing as well as B-scans and other special studies as requested. Equipment is state-of-the-art. High school diploma or equivalent education/training. Prefer prior photography experience and COA, COT or CRA certification. If not CRA certified, will be required to obtain certification.

Administrative Assistant/Full-Time/Pinehurst, NC – Provides administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Responsibilities include create & maintain reports, records, financial data & staff schedules, assist with phone, email, & written correspondence. Proficient in Word, Excel & Powerpoint. Require High School diploma or equivalent, prefer AAS in business or office administration. Require 1-3 years performing related tasks. FT with excellent benefits. Housekeeping-Patient Escort/Full-Time/Pinehurst NC – Daily cleaning of restrooms, patient areas, and other areas as needed. Restock supplies when needed. Escort patients throughout eye and surgical clinic. Require High School Diploma or equivalent, prefer 1-2 years’ previous housekeeping experience. FT with excellent benefits.
