Team Leader & Certified Ophthalmic Assistant / Full-time / Albemarle, NC Coordinates scheduling for physician and staff on the team. Works closely with the managers and supervisors of the Patient Care Department to resolve patient and scheduling issues for the team. Works under the supervision of the physician as an ophthalmic technician to obtain data from patients and perform duties that assist doctors in the evaluation of patients. High school diploma or GED required, prefer associates degree in related field. Must a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant through JCAHPO.
Patient Service Representative/Optical Assistant/Part-time/Cheraw, SC Register patients upon arrival, secure insurance or managed care authorization, and prepare chart. Post charges, educate and communicate balance to patients, request payment, post payment data, issue receipts, and submit daily deposit. Process insurance claims. Assist patients with eyewear selections, fit, and adjustments. Assist with placing orders for frames, lenses, and contact lenses. High school diploma or equivalent required, prefer 1-3 years of medical office experience performing related tasks and/or Associates Degree in related field (Business, Accounting, etc.) Part-Time position. Administrative Assistant/Full-Time/Pinehurst, NC Provides administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Responsibilities include create & maintain reports, records, financial data & staff schedules, assist with phone, email, & written correspondence. Proficient in Word, Excel & Powerpoint. Require High School diploma or equivalent, prefer AAS in business or office administration. Require 1-3 years performing related tasks. FT with excellent benefits. Maintenance Technician/Part-Time/Greensboro, Winston-Salem, Asheboro Responsible for care, maintenance, and repair of equipment and building structures. Duties may include, but not limited to: cleaning, painting, yard maintenance, changing light bulbs, repairing office equipment, moving furniture or boxes. Knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and phones preferred. Work will be performed at three office locations – Greensboro, Winston-Salem, and Asheboro.
