Ophthalmic Assistant – Greensboro, NC – Full-Time – Under the supervision of an Eye Center physician, the ophthalmic assistant obtains data from patients and performs duties that assist doctors in the evaluation of patient eye problems. Require High school diploma or equivalent education/training, prefer Associates Degree. Prefer COA or COT certification. Employee will be required to obtain COA within certain time period after hire, company will assist employee in obtaining COA. Require 1-3 years’ experience in ophthalmology or medical related tasks. Full-Time with excellent benefits. EOE.

Billing Assistant – Pinehurst, NC – Part-Time – Answer patient calls for insurance and billing inquiries. Research to determine course of action to resolve. Research discrepancies found in posted charges and payments and process accordingly. Require High School Diploma or equivalent, prefer degree in business related field. Require at least 1 year experience in insurance/billing or related field. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Part-Time. EOE.

Ophthalmic Photographer – Pinehurst NC – Full Time – Fast-paced practice with exceptional staff seeking an individual to work in our photography department. Seeking a photographer with an interest in medical photography. Fully assisted “on the job” training of cameras and equipment along with the anatomy and physiology of the eyes. Will obtain state of the art images for aiding physicians in diagnosing and treating eye diseases. May contact patients with test results and assist with Patient Care duties. Some “day’ travel required, will be compensated with ride time and mileage.  High School diploma or equivalent education required. Prefer prior experience in photography, but not required.  Full-Time position with excellent benefits. Part-Time position may be an option. EOE.

Esthetician – Pinehurst, NC – Part-Time – Work as an Esthetician under the supervision of an eye care physician. Assist physician with cosmetic laser procedures. Perform cosmetic facials, waxing, and chemical peels. On the job training is provided for learning new skills as necessary. Must have a current NC Esthetician License. Part-Time status, hours will vary based on patient schedules. EOE.

Maintenance Technician – Pinehurst, NC – Part-Time – Candidate will perform building repairs and maintenance: building and equipment repair, light fixtures/bulb changing, painting, repair or replace fixtures, exterior and yard maintenance. Moving office furniture, equipment, and boxes. Assist with housekeeping of offices and supply orders. Some “day” travel to satellite offices. Must have working knowledge of plumbing, electricity, carpentry, electronics, and telephones. Job requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, and heavy lifting. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Prefer 1 – 2 years previous maintenance experience. Part-Time.
