Year UPDATE STILL THE BEST PLACE TO GO FOR ANY EYE RELATED ISSUE, GLASSES PRESCRIPTION NOT GLASSES THEMSELVES. EVEN PEOPLE IN WAITING AREA ARE NICE. IF You Have ANY EYE ISSUES THIS IS WHERE YOU NEED TO BE SEEN! Dr. Apple (all other Dr. there also) & staff are professional, efficient, and wait wasn't excessive. They have TV & Wi-Fi in lobby/waiting area. It is wheelchair friendly. The lobby furniture isn't very comfortable but you don't wait long so it's not a problem. If you're having a regular yearly type eye exam at the Sanford location they don't perform contact fitting. If you want a contact lens fitting you'll need to go to Pinehurst location. It's also a nice location.Sometimes phone communication may take longer than you'd like but they will address issue or clarify things.

Had a very positive experience with Carolina Eye Care. Had cataract surgery everything went fine. Dr. Handily very thorough.

I wanted to leave a review simply because I was so impressed. Because of other reviews, I expected the worst, but I am happy to say that they were very prompt and professional. I couldn't be happier with my treatment.

Dr Messner was great and all the staff was caring and kind wonderful people I was very impressed with wait time I got super care and can see again I would recommend Carolina Eye Center to anyone Keep up the great work and may God bless yall Thanks so much for such great service

He is great! Explains everything. Answered all questions so iiit could be understood, on time, never waiting. Did a very delicate surgery with minimum, if any bruising to the eye. Very personable!. Remembered me and details of the case. Does what he says. Goes out of the way t explore surgical options with other specialists (same time as appointment) and did not have to make additional appointments , thus cutting out delays in treatment.
