LUMBERTON OPHTHALMOLOGIST
Dr. Scott Mouser is a general ophthalmologist specializing in the treatment of eye diseases and disorders.
Dr. Mouser has more than 20 years of experience serving patients in Lumberton and the surrounding communities. He provides fullscope eye care, including laser procedures and general ophthalmology services for patients of all ages.
Dr. Mouser earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee, completed medical school at East Tennessee State University, and finished his ophthalmology residency at the Medical College of Georgia. He moved to Lumberton in 2000 and later purchased the longstanding practice of Dr. Bailey, continuing a local eyecare legacy that dates back to the 1960s.
Known for his relationshipcentered approach, Dr. Mouser values getting to know his patients personally and has cared for many families across multiple generations. He is a former president of the Robeson County Medical Society and remains active in community and church life.
Originally from Tennessee, he is a proud Vols fan and enjoys visiting family, gardening, and staying connected with the community he serves.
