The time spent with Dr. Fakadej was very short with two encounters as I expected. She was professional and engaging and answered all my questions. Although she prepared me for some blurriness in my right eye, I had perfect vision while still in the chair after the procedure. It remained perfect through the day with no complications whatsoever. I was notified the total visit time would span up to 3 hours, but there seemed to be a lot of time we spent waiting.

Dr. Mincey and his staff are wonderful. They take the time to explain everything and to follow up post surgery. Great experience from start to finish.

I would highly recommend Carolina Eye Associates. I have been a, patient of Dr Mincey for 6 years. I have always, had a professional exam from him as well as all of the staff. Everyone works together and provides you with a very pleasant experience. You could not ask for any better care.

The doctors and nurses are top notch, but the administration check in and check out process is a mess and takes an unbelievable amount of time. There is no visible process when trying to leave. You are dropped into a room and no matter what your procedure was (eye check or surgery) you are left in a line. So patients in a great deal of pain after a procedure are left to sit sometimes for over an hour trying to leave. No care seems to be taken to expedite the process to leave. Its frustrating when you see your doctor for 10 minutes but end up sitting for two and three hours just waiting before and after. There has to be a better way to do business.

Dr. Fakadej is a very patient and knowledgeable surgeon. Everything went smoothly.
