Electronic Medical Records Coordinator (EMR)
Pinehurst Center – Full time position

Exciting opportunity for a professional who wants to assume a leadership role with a growing ophthalmology practice. This person will work closely with all physicians, management and staff to insure appropriate training and understanding of the EMR system is implemented. They will act as a liaison between Carolina Eye Associates and the software company. Individual will be responsible for all researching, testing, training and installation of new releases of NextGen software. This position requires an Associates Degree in Business Administration or related field and a minimum of 2 years in IS department and in a medical office environment performing related tasks, or other combination of education and experience will be considered. Prefer knowledge of NextGen software and Microsoft Windows Applications.

Administrative Assistant
Pinehurst Center - Full time position

Responsibilities include composing Administrative Assistant- Pinehurst Office. Responsibilities include composing correspondences, distributing mail, answering telephones, making travel arrangements, maintaining appointment calendars and coordinating all arrangements for conferences. Individual will work directly for the CEO & COO. Must have the ability to communicate in a professional manner and be able to maintain confidentiality. Minimum requirements High School Diploma or GED, would prefer Associates degree in Business Administration or Secretarial Program. 1-3 years experience performing related task. Duties include typing correspondences, distributing mail, answering telephones, making travel arrangements, maintaining appointment calendars and coordinating all arrangements for conferences. Individual will work directly for the CEO & COO. Must have the ability to communicate in a professional manner and be able to maintain confidentiality. Minimum requirements High School Diploma or GED, would prefer Associates degree in Business Administration or Secretarial Program. 1-3 years experience performing related task.

Physician Assistant
Pinehurst Center - Part time position
Previous ophthalmic experience preferred. Duties include pre op exams for same day surgery patients. Contact the Human Resources department for more details.
